hen one has a perception of reality as strongly and as negatively as you do, it tends to color everything else around us, including perception of self. It all seems real, that you are bad, that you are not capable of being good, that there is no hope etc. These are but addictive negative though patterns that have a life of their own as we objectify them, give them a personality of their own and as such we become enslaved to those thoughts and perceptions.

{O you who believe! Avoid most of suspicion, for surely suspicion in some case is a sin, and do not spy nor let some of backbite others. Does one of you like to eat the flesh of his dead brother? But you abhor it; and be careful of (yor duty to) Allah, surely Allah is Oft-Returning (to mercy), Merciful ) (Al-Hujurat 49:12)

This verse speaks of one to another, of one life against another life, or one person against another person. What you are doing is against your own life by eating the flesh of your own life.

{ " O you who believe! Let not (one) people laugh at (another) people perchance they may be better than they… and do not find fault with your own people nor call one another by nicknames; evil is a bad name after faith, and whoever does not turn, these it is that are the unjust"} (Hujurat 49: 11)

By continuing as you do to give yourself a bad name (i..e that you are bad), you ensalve yourself to that reference depriving yourself of any change for the better. "I am bad", so there is no point, just give up.
